Srujana Shivji is the founder and managing partner of Shivji Law Firm PLLC. Ms. Shivji has lived in India, the Middle East, and Australia, and has been a Texas resident for the past 15 years. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a BA in Political Science and Mathematics. Ms. Shivji earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

While in law school, Ms. Shivji followed her dedication to ensure that everyone has access to high quality legal assistance. She interned at the Bexar County Appellate Public Defender’s Office to uphold and defend an individual’s right to a fair trial. Ms. Shivji was also instrumental in implementing the Restorative Justice Initiative at the Ney Prison Unit in Hondo to encourage profound and meaningful rehabilitation for both offenders and victims.

Ms. Shivji gained experience in insurance litigation while working for a boutique law firm in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Shivji is currently also Of Counsel at Furlow Law Firm, which focuses on property insurance claims on behalf of homeowners.

With her background in engineering, Ms. Shivji has broadened her practice to cover cyber liability, along with data, content and privacy concerns to cater to businesses.

In her spare time, Ms. Shivji enjoys international travel and photography. She and her husband are also part of Chinmaya Mission Houston and frequently work on volunteer projects together.
